It's Better Together Meetup No. 2

my iphone photos from the eventLast night we had our second It's Better Together meetup in Orlando and it was so much fun! There was a great turnout at Seven Sisters Coffee of wedding pros in all different fields such as invitation design, photography, hair styling, event planning, etc. This meeting was focused on accounting for a small business (something that it seems everyone could use a little help with) and we brought in a CPA to speak and answer lots of questions. It was so lovely to mingle, meet new people, and get a reminder about how intimidating the IRS is :).
Many thanks to Trisha and Becka for getting the event together and to the Orange Blossom Ink ladies for making the awesome fabric business card holders (at the end of the event everyone got a pouch with each person's business card inside).
We plan on meeting every quarter so if you're in the area & part of the wedding industry feel free to get in touch about getting on our mailing list.

What a great event and organization to host it! I live in South Florida and love to see wonderful event like this in what I thought was boring ol' florida hahahah. If you are ever looking for a South Florida (Fort Lauderdale) counterpart, please let me know!!!!!

Hi Anna! I am a designer and I moved to Winter Park about a month ago. I don't know anyone in the area but I keep passing your new shop and seeing your sign and thinking..."maybe THAT person will be my friend!" Then today I was looking through some older posts on A Cup of Jo and clicked on a link that brought me right to you! I love synchronicity. I am so excited that I found you, especially since I am planning to step into the wedding world soon (both as a bride and as a designer). I will keep checking back with your blog and watching for your shop opening. I hope to meet you in person one day!

Mary - we had a great turnout.. I think about 15-20 people attended the event.
Well that meet up looks so interesting, i suppose it was the productive meet up as well. Thats good, We always need this things sometimes just to avoid confusions and let everybody knoe each other in much better way.
